Tour Edge's new wedges finally give the brand a premium short game offering
Developed alongside the likes of Bernard Langer, the Exotics Milled range is the brand's cleanest wedge line-up to date.

Tour Edge's flagship Exotics range has come leaps and bounds over the last year or two, having risen from a mere budget range to a proposition that bridges the gap between affordability and premium performance better than ever.
The range now encompasses everything from high-MOI drivers to affordable zero torque putters, but until now, Tour Edge has never really had a premium wedge line to call its own.
That changes today with the unveiling of the new Exotics Milled Range of wedges, which promises tour-level feel and spin, along with a range of pro-inspired bounce options, at an approachable price point.

Genuine pro input went into the development of the Exotics Milled range, with Bernard Langher submitting feedback alongside a score of PGA Tour, DP World Tour and other PGA TOUR Champions stars. Their main focus was developing a matrix of bounce and grind options that would suit the needs of budget-oriented players who need forgiveness, as well as elite players who needed the utomost control on tighter lies.
For ease of reference when purchasing, this has been distilled down into a simple choice of LB (low-bounce), MB (mid-bounce) and HB (high-bounce) options across the different lofts, which suit progressively softer turf and steeper angles of attack.
Bounce, of course, is only one part of the equation, and Tour Edge have also gone to lengths to ensure that the feel and control the wedges provide is of the very highest order. Each wedge is cast from 304 stainless steel for a soft feel, with precision CNC-milled SuperSpin™ grooves that sit at the very maximum of the USGA's limits for groove depth.
A rougher-textured face, combined with steeper groove walls, sharper radii and tighter edge tolerances, all work together to create exceptional surface friction and spin performance in both wet and dry conditions.
“We were extremely pleased with the results of our wet-wedge testing when compared to the two top-selling wedges on the market,” said Matt Neeley, Vice President of R&D for Tour Edge. “The performance validated the effectiveness of our new groove geometry and increased groove volume, delivering the spin consistency golfers need in all playing conditions.”
