Reed tried to trash talk Tiger - got destroyed

Jordan Spieth regaled an excellent tete-a-tete between Tiger Woods and Patrick Reed in the latest No Laying Up podcast.

The scenario: Spieth and Reed are playing well against Rafa Cabrera-Bello and Sergio Garcia in foursomes, prompting the Texan to tell assistant captain Woods "Man, you’ve never been able to play this good in alternate shot in your life."

Spieth then says Woods replied with “something smart”, prompting Reed, known for his extreme confidence, to say something to Woods.

Spieth remembers: “Tiger says, 'Don't worry Patrick, you only need 74 more wins and 14 majors.'"

“And then I said, 'Patrick, you can't talk s**t to him because you can't talk s**t to me. You need two more majors and four more wins to get to me.'”

And that was the end of that discussion.
