Motocaddy launch customised golf trolleys

When the latest press release pinged up in my inbox with the headline ‘golf customisation’, we were all set to indulge in the world of tailor-made clubs, golf ball personalisation or customised tee pegs.

But unlike anything we’ve ever seen before at Golfmagic Towers, Motocaddy has stepped up the gears by taking golf customisation to the next level.

Golfers can now make a personal statement on the golf course by designing their very own electric Motocaddy trolley through a ground-breaking online service called MyCaddy.

The easy-to-use service puts golfers in charge of their product, allowing them to choose their own trolley model, frame colour, wheels, battery option, cart bag and personalised text.

Before the order is placed, a computer-generated image of the trolley design offers a chance to make any final changes to its appearance before the purchase is confirmed.

The maximum cost of designing a MyCaddy trolley is £80, in addition to the standard RRP of £299.99 for the S1 Digital and £399.99 for the S3 Digital.

“For a small additional charge, golfers can customise their new electric trolley in a similar way that they now choose custom fitted clubs or footwear,” said Marketing Manager of Motocaddy, Oliver Churcher.

“The MyCaddy service adds more fun and personality to the game of golf. Golfers can now express themselves by making their golf trolley totally unique to them.”
