Cameron Smith was praised by golf fans for remaining on site at the Australian PGA Championship to sign autographs after missing the cut.
Smith let his temper get the better of him by smashing a golf club into his bag after a loose shot at Royal Queensland Golf Club.
It was all the more infuriating for the 30-year-old as he was the defending champion. He missed the cut by nine strokes.
Min Woo Lee, 25, went on to win, clinching a top prize of €204,636.48 for the third worldwide win of his career.

Smith described his performance as 's---', adding: "Australia has been so good to me, there's no reason to perform like that. [It was] unacceptable.
"I've performed under pressure before and it's not acceptable, a bit upsetting actually. I know what I'm doing, it's just going out there and committing to something is another thing."
The majority of golfers would be forgiven for leaving as soon as possible.
Smith returned on Saturday and signed autographs for his fans. A video captured by @AdamJackson_9 illustrated the golfer's popularity as a huge queue lined up to meet the 2022 Open champion.
"This is so classy," one wrote on X.
Another added: "Shoots a 78 and sits his ass down and signs autographs for an hour. Love this guy, everything about him. I am betting he comes back for Australian Open and cooks the field."
Whilst this user joked: "He probably forgot this event had a cut."
