Aaron Rai wife: Who is the PGA Championship contender married to?

Aaron Rai is a name regularly seen on PGA Tour leaderboards. 

Rai, 31, has now established himself as one of the more consistent performers in men's professional golf and is currently 44th in the world rankings. 

The Englishman turned professional in 2012 and claimed his first title seven years later at the Honma Hong Kong Open. 

The golfer - who wears two gloves and uses head covers for his irons - then added another big victory to his resume at the Aberdeen Angus Scottish Open in 2020.

He captured the biggest victory of his career to date on the PGA Tour at the Wyndham Championship in August 2024. 

But he is going for the biggest win of his life at the 2026 PGA Championship. 

After 54 holes at the second men's major of the year, Rai is right in the thick of it and will have an afternoon tee time at Aronimink Golf Club. 

He is one of several players who will believe they have a chance of lifting the Wanamaker Trophy. 

He will supported outside the gallery ropes by his friends, family and his wife Gaurika Bishnoi.

Aaron Rai's wife is Gaurika Bishnoi. 

Like her husband, she is a professional golfer and plies her trade on the Ladies European Tour. 

They went public with their relationship during the 2025 Masters. 

Gaurika impressed with her performance at the annual Par 3 Contest, hitting one shot closer than her husband. 

It was a moment where it dawned on viewers that she was also a professional golfer. 

Gaurika, 27, is from Gurugrami, India. 

She established herself on the Hero Women's Pro Golf Tour and has won an impressive eight individual titles. 

She was also ranked the number one female player on the circuit in 2017 and 2019.

Gaurika is also a keen tennis player. She studied economics at the Jesus and Mary College in New Delhi. 

These days, she can be found plying her trade on the Ladies European Tour. 

Rai likes to keep his private life just that: private. 

But what we do know is that the couple married in July 2025 with a vibrant Indian ceremony at Hedsor House just outside of London. 

The couple reside in Jacksonville, Florida. They do not have any children.

Rai was born in Wolverhampton in 1995. He has three older siblings; two sisters and one brother. 

The Englishman set a Guinness World Record after he holed 207 consecutive putts from 10 feet when he was 15 years old. 

Rai uses head iron head covers, purely because his father taught him to respect and look after his equipment. 

He also wears two gloves for better grip. 

Rai is coached by PGA professionals and YouTube stars Piers Ward and Andy Proudman of 'Me and My Golf'.

He uses TaylorMade irons and Titleist Vokey wedges. 

His highest finish at a major arrived at the 2021 Open Championship and the 2024 US Open.
