PGA Tour reveal title sponsor of new signature event at Donald Trump's course
The PGA Tour have confirmed luxury automobile brand Cadillac will become the headline sponsor of the PGA Tour's Miami Championship at Doral in 2026.
Cadillac has been confirmed as the title sponsor of the PGA Tour's new signature event.
Rumours surfaced in October that the luxury automobile brand was in the driving seat to become the headline sponsor of the Miami Championship.
The tournament is one of nine signature events on the PGA Tour's 2026 schedule.
It will be played over April 27-May 3 on the famed Blue Monster at Trump National Doral.
The 2026 Cadillac Championship will mark the PGA Tour's first event at Doral in a decade.
The Florida venue hosted the Doral Open from 1962 to 2006 and a World Golf Championships event from 2007 to 2016.
Doral has also hosted LIV Golf events from 2022-2025.
Notable past winners at Doral include Jack Nicklaus, Tiger Woods, Greg Norman, Nick Faldo, Adam Scott, Dustin Johnson and Ernie Els.
PGA Tour chief executive, Brian Rolapp, said: "We are pleased to welcome back Cadillac, a world-class brand whose partnership with the PGA Tour is synonymous with Trump National Doral, a legacy venue on our schedule,.
"We appreciate the support of Cadillac as we bring a new era of the PGA Tour to our fans in Miami."
The return to Trump National Doral will mark the 56th playing of PGA Tour event at the Blue Monster.
It previously hosted the Tour from 1962 to 2016.
As many as 14 hall of famers have won 24 titles at the Blue Monster, including the aforementioned Woods in 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2013.
The Cadillac Championship is the only new event on the regular season schedule.
It will likely have a total prize purse of more than $20m.
