Rose -13 (6)

Rose stiffs his approach shot and moves into a tie for the lead.

Bhatia -11 (9)

Bhatia throws a dart into the 9th and taps in for birdie.

Two back. 

Spaun -12 (6)

Spaun stiffs his approach shot on the par-4 6th and he converts the five footer for birdie.

One back.

Fleetwood -13, Rose -12 (5)

Good pars for Fleetwood and Rose on the tough 5th.

They both get up and down from sand to make par. 

Scheffler -12 (6)

Scheffler lips out for birdie from seven feet on the par-4 6th.

He remains one back. 

Spaun -11 (5)

Spaun misses his 20 footer for par on the tough par-4 5th.

He's now two shots back in solo fourth. 

Fleetwood -13, Rose -12 (4)

Fleetwood missed the green right into the bunker but he played a brilliant splash shot to within five feet and then converted the par putt on the right side. 

Rose two putted for par.

Fleetwood leads by one.

Scheffler -12 (5)

Scheffler misses the green right with his approach shot then comes up well short of the pin with his third.

He goes on to make bogey and he's back into a tie for second.

Bhatia -10 (7)

Bhatia bogeys the 7th.

Back into a tie for fifth with Fowler and Novak on 10-under par.

Fleetwood -13, Rose -12 (3)

Sloppy start for England's Fleetwood and Rose.

They've both just made par on the par-5 3rd.

Neither player has any early momentum at the moment. 

Fleetwood remains in a share of the lead with Scheffler, who has just made par on the 4th.

Scheffler gets up and down for birdie on the par-5 3rd to move into a share of the lead with Fleetwood.

Spieth -3 (F)

Spieth bogeys the last for a round of 68.

But it's not enough to advance to next week's BMW.

He's out of the FedEx Cup.

Out of the Ryder Cup too. 

You would think.

Rose -12 (1)

Rose misses a six footer for par on the 1st.

He falls into a tie for second on 12-under par.

Fleetwood one ahead.

Fleetwood -13 (1)

Bogey for Fleetwood.

He fails to convert a 10 footer for par on the par-4 1st.

Joint leader with Rose.

Spaun -12 (1)

Spaun makes an early move.

He birdies the 1st and moves into a tie for third with Scheffler, who makes par.

Young -8 (6)

Young is 3-under for the first six holes and now up to 8-under par, which is just inside the top 10. 

The American won his first PGA Tour title last week at the Wyndham and he's showing no signs of slowing down this week.

You would think, at least on current form, that he's going to earn one of Bradley's six picks on a first US Ryder Cup team.

Bradley makes his picks after the Tour Championship later this month. 

Scheffler's stand-in caddie today is PGA Tour Chaplain Brad Payne.

Thomas -6 (13)

JT has the low round of the day going so far at 6-under thru 13 holes.

He's jumped up to 6-under for the tournament, which moves him just inside the top 20 as it stands.

At the moment though he would drop back three places in the FedEx Cup from fifth to eighth, as is the volatility of points in the first Playoffs event this week. 

Remember, the top 50 in the FedEx Cup after today's round will advance to the BMW Championship.

Lee +10 (F)

Min Woo Lee has just skipped round all 18 holes in 2 hours 20 minutes.

He carded a round of level par 70.

Impressive pace. 

Lee went round with a marker in the first tee time of the morning. 

Fleetwood and Rose will tee off at 1.40pm local time, which is 6.40pm for UK fans. 

Rose thinks Fleetwood will be happy he's with him instead of Scheffler on Sunday. 

Scheffler joins Spaun in the penultimate pairing at 1.30pm.
