John Deere Classic Prize Money Payouts: How much Chris Gotterup and others earned on PGA Tour

Chris Gotterup banked $1.584 million after producing a sensational final-round 62 to win the John Deere Classic by one shot.
Starting Sunday five shots behind the lead, Gotterup charged through the field with one of the rounds of the season to finish at 20-under par, denying Max Homa, who collected $959,200 after finishing alone in second on 19-under.
The victory marks Gotterup's second PGA Tour title of the 2026 season, having also won the WM Phoenix Open in February.
Gotterup, 26, will now head to this week's Genesis Scottish Open as the defending champion, looking to successfully defend the title he claimed 12 months ago.
Ben Kohles suffered the biggest heartbreak of the week. The 36-year-old American held a share of the lead playing the par-4 18th before making a costly double-bogey six, dropping into a three-way tie for third alongside Lucas Glover and Lee Hodges. The trio each earned $466,400.
The John Deere Classic carried a total purse of $8.8 million, one of the smaller full-field prize funds on the 2026 PGA Tour schedule, although the winner's cheque still comfortably exceeded $1.5 million.
A total of 79 players made the cut and received prize money, with amateur Preston Stout finishing in a tie for 15th but, as an amateur, not eligible to receive prize money.
