Tournament organisers of the PNC Championship have confirmed the prize money will be unchanged for the 2025 edition of the annual parent/child PGA Tour event in Florida.

The hit-and-giggle tournament will be contested over 20-21 December at the Ritz-Carlton Golf Club in Florida.

German golf legend Bernhard Langer and his son Jason have returned to defend their title, 12 months after defeating Tiger Woods and his lad Charlie in a sudden-death play-off.

Team Woods aren't teeing it up this year as the 15-time major champion is still recovering from his latest back surgery.

Tiger told reporters before the Hero World Challenge in Albany earlier in the month that he has been given clearance to chip and putt again but felt it wouldn't be fair to Charlie if he tried to play this week.

He also explained that he thought it would be taking away an opportunity for another team.

Team Woods have been replaced this year by former U.S. Open champion Gary Woodland and his father Dan.

They aren't the only notable absentee's as nine-time major winner, Gary Player, who recently turned 90, has also decided not to compete.

In total, there are 20 teams teeing it up.

The total purse for the 2025 PNC Championship is $1.08m, meaning the winning team will split the top prize of $200,000.
