Tiger Woods and Justin Timberlake have announced plans today to open up a second T-Squared Social sports bar and indoor golf experience in St Andrews, Scotland.

The venue will be located in the New Picture House Cinema on North Street, which is less than five minutes away from the Home of Golf at the Old Course at St Andrews.

Golf legend Woods and singing sensation and actor Timberlake unveiled their first T-Squared Social Club in New York on Wednesday September 20.

T-Squared Social merges elevated cuisine and craft cocktails with state-of-the-art Full Swing sims for golf and other interactive sports.

There is also a giant TV for all the latest sports.

The name T-Squared is an homage to the first letter of Tiger and Timberlake.

Woods won two of his three career Open Championships at St Andrews in 2000 and 2005.

The 15-time major champion won his other Open Championship at Royal Liverpool in 2006.

Woods said in a press release:

"I have been fortunate enough to enjoy many special moments here at St. Andrews. We all wanted to bring our T-Squared Social concept to St. Andrews to add to the local community and be a welcoming place for those living in St. Andrews and for visitors alike."

Timberlake added in same release:

"I’ve come to St. Andrews many times to play golf, including to compete in The Alfred Dunhill Links Championship. I’m honored to be able to invest in the town and bring our second T-Squared Social here. Our new venue is so much more than a typical sports bar experience – it’s a place you can go to be entertained without sacrificing quality or comfort."

T-Squared Social is owned by NEXUS Luxury Collection, 8AM Golf, Woods, and Timberlake.

Both Woods and Timberlake are NEXUS shareholders.

Woods has been seen hitting golf balls over the last few days at his TGR Jr Invitational presented by TaylorMade at Pebble Beach.

It is anticipated Woods could make his competitive return at the Hero World Challenge in the Bahamas at the end of November, according to Golf Channel's Todd Lewis.

Woods has been out of action since undergoing ankle surgery following his WD from The Masters in April.

St Andrews this week played host to the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship.

The tournament was cut short to 54 holes, however, as a result of inclement weather over the weekend.

England's Matt Fitzpatrick won the tournament by three strokes on 19-under par.

The European Ryder Cup star also won the team event alongside his mother, Susan, on 35-under par.
