Tour Championship Second Round Tee Times: Leader Min Woo Lee out with Viktor Hovland at East Lake

Min Woo Lee and Viktor Hovland will headline Friday's second round of the 2026 Tour Championship, with the leaderboard determining the pairings after a blistering opening day at East Lake.

Lee will tee off last at 2pm ET alongside Hovland after firing a sensational 8-under 62 on Thursday to storm into an early two-shot lead.

Hovland sits tied second at 6-under par alongside Collin Morikawa and Chris Gotterup, who will tee off at 1:48pm ET.

World No.1 Scottie Scheffler is also firmly in contention after opening with a 5-under 65. 

Three shots behind Lee, Scheffler will play alongside Ludvig Åberg at 1:24pm ET.

Scheffler also provided one of the lighter moments of the week after revealing a hilarious misunderstanding with Matt Fitzpatrick at last week's BMW Championship.

The four-time major champion was battling an illness and struggling to speak, but Fitzpatrick thought his playing partner was simply blanking him.

“Man, I thought I pissed you off or something. You didn't talk to me for two days,” Fitzpatrick told him.

“I was like, ‘No, man, I just couldn't speak,’” Scheffler replied.

The pair are separated on Friday, with Fitzpatrick teeing off alongside Sam Burns at 12:42pm ET.

Thursday's scoring was extremely low, with the field averaging 66.6 on the par-70 East Lake layout. 

The tournament has also been reduced to 29 players following J.J. Spaun's withdrawal with a shoulder injury.

With all the points having reset ahead of this week, the winner of the Tour Championship takes home the FedEx Cup and $10m first prize.
