Tomorrow's Golf League (TGL) launched in January after a 12-month delay.
Season one, which saw Atlanta Drive crowned as the inaugural winners of the SoFi Cup, was met with a mixed response.
Several changes have been made ahead of season two and plenty of familiar faces will be back.
McIlroy and his Boston Common Golf side will be looking to bounce back from a miserable campaign that saw them miss out on the play-offs.
Woods, who turns 50 on 30 December, will miss the first few matches as he continues the recovery from his latest back surgery.
The 15-time major champion says he will be in attendance at the SoFi Center to support his teammates at all of their matches and hopes to participate towards the end of the season.
McIlroy's Boston Common Golf side are the only team to have made an addition to their roster for the 2026 season.
The Northern Irishman revealed earlier in the month that Michael Thorbjornsen has joined the Ballfrogs to fill in when Adam Scott and Hideki Matsuyama are unavailable.
Thorbjornsen, 24, is a rising star on the PGA Tour. Keegan Bradley is the fifth member of McIlroy's team.

What is TGL?
TGL, which features six squads, is run by TMRW Sports, the technology-focused sports company launched by Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy in 2022.
Each team will play five matches in a round-robin league format, with the top four sides earning a spot in the play-offs.
How do TGL matches work?
Before a TGL match, each team picks three players to compete in a 15-hole contest that is split into two sessions: nine holes of three-man alternate shot followed by six holes of singles head-to-head play.
Points are awarded for winning a hole and the team with the most at the end is the winner.
In the event of a draw, the winner is determined by a nearest-the-pin contest.
How does the points system work?
Winners pick up two points while losers get zero.
If the match is settled by a nearest the pint competition, the winner will receive two points, while the losers pick up a point.
The four teams at the top of the table at the end of the season advance to the semi-finals before a best-of-three final.
