The Ladies Open de España has quickly risen to become one of the Ladies European Tour's signature events over the last few years. Now, it's set to take on an even greater sense of grandeur as the tournament descends upon the La Cala resort for its 2026 edition.

La Cala has grown in prominence as one of the Andalucia's most acclaimed golf resorts, complete with three championship-caliber courses, one of the nation's leading golf academies, and a 107-room hotel named as Spain's Best Golf Hotel at the most recent World Golf Awards.

The Europa course, the most recent of architect Cabell Robinson's three designs on the property, will provide the tournament a stunning backdrop thanks to its elevated teeboxes and stunning views over the foothills of the Sierra de Mijas.

The Andalucia Costa del Sol region has also taken on naming rights for the tournament, planting it firmly as a tournament that belongs in the area.

"To host the Andalucía Costa del Sol Open de España presented by Oysho is a proud moment for everyone at La Cala Resort. This is a tournament of genuine stature and an important date on the Ladies European Tour schedule," said La Cala General Manager Sean Corte-Real.

"We look forward to welcoming players, officials and guests to La Cala and showcasing both our resort and the wider destination of Mijas to an international audience. We are proud to welcome a tournament of this significance to Mijas and to contribute to the continued growth of women’s professional golf in Andalucía and the Costa del Sol.”

Last year's tournament was won by Anastasia Nadaud. This year's tournament will take place between 26-29 November.
