European Ryder Cup team members caught up in fan incidents at BMW PGA
BMW PGA: Golf gambler shouts at Bob MacIntyre while Thomas Bjorn deals with "drunken fan"
Bob MacIntyre and Thomas Bjorn were both involved in incidents with spectators in the second round of the BMW PGA Championship at Wentworth.
MacIntyre will be one of the 12 players competing in Luke Donald's European Ryder Cup team at Marco Simone in Rome in two weeks' time, while Bjorn is acting as one of Donald's vice-captains.
According to a report in The Telegraph following the second of the DP World Tour's flagship tournament of the season, MacIntyre found himself targeted by a golf gambler in the crowd as he walked down the 17th hole.
The gambler is said to have shouted out at MacIntyre to let him know he wanted him to get beat by his playing partners.
It is unknown as to whether the gambler had money on either Justin Rose or Matt Fitzpatrick to win the three-ball, but either way, the man lost his money as MacIntyre carded a 69, while Rose and Fitzpatrick posted rounds of 71 and 72 respectively.

Jon Rahm, who will also be in the European Ryder Cup team, spoke about this very issue of gambling at professional golf tournaments just last month.
"We hear it every round," said Rahm.
MacIntyre's round of 69 bumped him up to 3-under par for the tournament and seven strokes off the pace heading into the weekend, currently set by fellow European Ryder Cup debutant Ludvig Aberg and his Swedish compatriot Sebastian Soderberg.
Some three hours later, another incident was playing out with Thomas Bjorn and a spectator down the par-5 18th.
Former European Ryder Cup captain Bjorn, who will act as one of Donald's vice-captains in Rome this month, reportedly became "involved in a row with a drunken fan."
There is little more information about what exactly happened but Bjorn was seen trudging over to the fan behind the ropes.
Bjorn needed a birdie on the last to make the halfway cut but he could only manage a par.
A total of 10 groups are still yet to complete their second rounds due to play being suspended due to darkness at 7.40pm.
One of those groups features Donald, who is 2-under par for the tournament with two holes left to complete.
Players will return to finish their second rounds at 7.15am on Saturday.
The halfway cut is set to be 1-under par, a score Rory McIlroy finds himself on following a round of 71.
McIlroy's group went round in 5 hours 30 minutes, and he told a pool of reporters afterwards that pace of play was a "complete s*** show".
