In the Bags: Victor Dubuisson and Adam Scott

TITLEIST celebrated a weekend double when its staff players Victor Dubuisson and Adam Scott clinched victories in the inaugural Turkish Airlines Open and Australian PGA respectively.

Dubuisson, playing a full bag of Titleist gear, held off a star-studded field that included Tiger Woods, Henrik Stenson and Justin Rose to claim his maiden European Tour title following a two-shot triumph over Jamie Donaldson on 24-under at the stunning Montgomerie Maxx Royal.

Despite seeing his overnight five-shot lead dwindle back to level at the 15th, the 23-year-old Frenchman held his nerve with birdies on three of his final four holes - including a crucial birdie-birdie finish.

“I don't know how to describe it,” said Dubuisson, who moves from 108th to 39th in the official world golf rankings. “Now I don't realise what's happening. I felt so much pressure on the last hole.

“Holing this putt on 17 was like; it was incredible. It was incredible, and the birdie on 18, it's a bonus.

“But even on the last putt, I was feeling so much stress. After this day, it was the longest day on the course that I've ever had. I'm very proud of what I did.”

Dubuisson trusted the 913D2 driver, 913 F, 913H, AP2 irons, Spin Milled Vokey wedges, Scotty Cameron Newport 2 Notchback and Pro V1x.

Meanwhile, earlier on Sunday morning, Scott stormed to victory by four strokes at the Australian PGA Championship to celebrate his homecoming after winning the Masters in style on the Gold Coast.

Scott, who plays a full bag of Titleist equipment, was made to wait for his win by rain and lightning that stopped play for nearly two hours, but came out firing after the break to complete a round of 67.

“This is the one I wanted desperately, it’s the icing on the cake for me in a great year,” said the 33-year-old after collecting the Joe Kirkwood Cup.

“I’ve been looking forward to coming home since April and playing in front of my friends and family.”

After collecting a fourth title in what has been a golden year for the World No.2, Scott now has one eye on the Tiger.

“Being World No.1 is more a dream than a goal,” he added.

“It's something I told myself as a kid playing at Twin Waters (as a junior on the Sunshine Coast) or even younger in the street with a plastic golf club that I wanted to be world No.1," Scott said after his pulsating four-shot triumph at Royal Pines.

“The process of getting there is winning tournaments. I've never been closer so I have to keep pushing on. I would love to be No.1. I think it can definitely happen and I think my game is not far from being No.1 in the world.”

Scott plays 913D3 driver, 910FD, 710 MB irons, Vokey Design SM4 wedges, Scotty Cameron Futura X long putter and Pro V1 ball.

Both Dubuisson and Scott also worse FooJoy footwear.
