This tennis brand is quietly taking golf clothing to a new level
Tennis giant Head is taking on golf in a big way with a luxurious take on course-ready attire.

It's not every day that a brand comes along that radically redefines what you thought golf attire could look like, but then again, it's not every day a designer like Ka Ho Kam enters the golf space.
Kam isn't a name many golfers will be familiar with, however those interested in fashion may know him better. Cutting his teeth as a designer under the likes of Marc Jacobs and Narcissa Rodriguez, Kam also spent time working with performance fabrics in the luxury ready-to-wear sector before being given his first Creative Director appointment.
The company that brought him on was Head: best known, of course, for its Tennis and Ski gear, but which last year announced its re-entry into the golf market. Its focus, with Kam at the helm, was imbuing golf attire with a new sense of luxury and textural splendour, creating course-ready clothes that double as true lifestyle pieces.
The brand's Spring/Summer 2026 collection, revealed this week, is its most ambitious yet, bringing a sense of '70s inspired swagger and placing even more emphasis on performance fabrics with heavy natural fibre content. Deep hues of red and red intermingle with pastels and patterns inspired by private club attire during the golden years of the 20th century, grounded earthy creams, browns and blacks.

"The tone remains composed yet warm," reads a statement from the brand. "Technical yet flavorful. Structured yet relaxed. The collection moves naturally through environments, from considered interiors to open air, without exaggeration or cliche. Pieces are shown in lived-in moments: seated discussions, slow walks between ideas, post-round reflections, glances exchanged across a table. The energy is subtle but intentional, revealing confidence without noise."
The result is clothing that performs on the course but looks and feels like something you'd get in a luxury store, with cotton, wool and knitted fabrics all abundant throughout the collection but blended with COOLMAX and Sorona fabrics to enhance on-course practicality. The fit of the clothes, likewise, is tailored and considered – not overly slim, but not so baggy as to swamp the wearer either.

Uniquely for a brand of its nature, Head has placed an emphasis as much on elevating women's golf attire as it has the men's side. The collection is split pretty much 50/50 between mens and womenswear, with the female collection spanning skirts, playsuits, dresses and knitted polos.
"HEAD GOLF invites a broader cultural perspective on the sport," the brand continues. "It suggests that golf can belong to designers, founders, architects, and thinkers, individuals who value aesthetics, detail, and sense of individuality as much as performance. By reframing the game through a softer, more human lens, the campaign opens space for new narratives and new participants. It is not about redefining golf loudly, but about allowing it to feel contemporary, creative, and quietly alive."

Head's unique designs are already getting noticed, with the brand's attire slowly filtering its way into some of America's most prestigious pro shops and a wider expansion planned across the year. For now though, can shop the full SS26 collection now at Head Golf.
