Backpack giant Herschel Supply is entering the golf space

If you're not familiar with Herschel Supply by name, there's a rock solid chance that you've seen one of their bags on your daily commute at some stage.

Much-loved across the world for their hardy, timeless take on backpacks, luggage, and travel accessories, the Vancouver-based brand today has announced a surprise expansion into the golf space, bringing their style-driven approach to an expansive new range of golf bags and accessories.

“Golf felt like a natural extension and there was a clear white space to approach it with a travel-first mindset," says Herschel Supply Founder Jamie Cormack. "We set out to build functional, quality products for today’s golfer, bringing our balance of classic style and modern functionality to the game.”

The permanent collection spans six new models aimed at offering a fresh take on some universal golf essentials, including a lightweight Sunday bag and two stand bags, all named the Watt and offered in different sizes. The pricing is pretty competitive too given the quality on offer, with the bags ranging in price from around $200-$300 depending on size.

The collection also includes a dedicated travel cover with reinforced panels and smooth-rolling wheels designed to protect clubs in transit, as well as fun accessories including head covers and a shoe bag.

Herschel has leant on some of its most classic colour schemes to bring the collection to life, with the bags offered in an eye-catching camo as well as minimalist tones like black, navy and a muted shade of pink.
