TaylorMade's latest limited-edition TP5 hits your eye like a big pizza pie
Molto bene!

The novelty golf merch train is still running at full steam, and TaylorMade's latest drop is the most delicious yet.
Hot on the heels of Callaway's sell-out run of National Dog Month golf balls, the brand of choice for Rory McIlroy and Tour Championship winner Tommy Fleetwood—themselves never afraid of being playful with their product—have fired back in a deliberately cheesy way.
The latest entry to a growing line of novelty releases that TaylorMade calls the Hot Shot line, the Pizza Party collection features pizza-fied visual updates to the TP5 and TP5x golf balls, the slices printed on the cover in a pattern similar to what you'd find on the model's visually-striking Pix variants (although we're not sure how effective a Pepperoni slice will be as an alignment aid out there on the greens).

As with the other visual makeovers TaylorMade have given the TP5 and TP5x, the balls are completely identical from a performance aspect. The only difference, aside from the print, is the smart Pizza-box themed packaging the balls come presented in—something we feel will likely make these balls a bit of a collector's item when they inevitably sell out.
Prior editions to the Hot Shot line, including balls themed around chillies, darts and sharks, have all sold out and now do big numbers in the resale market on eBay (although we always recommend playing the balls you buy, of course).
TaylorMade have complemented the collection with a pair of novelty putter covers—an area the brand has long shone in. The mallet cover is a cheesy, gooey mess in a way the Ninja Turtles would truly be proud of, while the blade cover has more of a traditional pizza party vibe.

You can grab yourself a dozen balls, along with the complementing putter covers, before they're gone at TaylorMade's website.
