Unlimited golf and 20% Early Booking saving headline 2015 at Bulgarian beauty

20% off bookings to Thracian Cliffs

IT'S never too soon to think about the next holiday - and 2015 bookings made before December 20 at Thracian Cliffs Golf & Beach Resort in Bulgaria will be 20% cheaper thanks to its outstanding early-bird deal, with savings of up to €240 per week.

And, in a separate promotion, the award-winning resort is also offering golfers the opportunity to play to their heart's content on its spectacular Gary Player-designed golf course - and the neighbouring Ian Woosnam-designed Lighthouse Golf & Spa Resort - with prices starting from €549 (around £459) per person for a five-night unlimited golf package in March 2015.

In addition to wall-to-wall golf, the package includes return transfers from Varna airport, a shared buggy for each round and free use of the driving range at Thracian Cliffs, as well as access to the fitness area, hammam, steam bath and Jacuzzi at the resort's spa.

Thracian Cliffs' general manager, Claudio Marini, said: "We have seen a significant increase in business from the UK and other main golfing markets this year and our advice to consumers is to book early and save money, and to come and experience unlimited golf at its finest.

"And, if waiting until 2015 proves too long, we still have outstanding autumn packages which feature unlimited golf on a proven European Tour course - with luxury accommodation - for less than €132 per night. It doesn't get much better than that!"

The existing autumn, three-night, bed-and-breakfast unlimited golf breaks at the world-class resort cost from just €395 (around £329) per person, during October and November.

The luxury venue has gained many admirers since opening in 2011, with images of the sensational cliff-top Gary Player golf course being transmitted around the world. It also successfully hosted the 2013 Volvo World Match Play Championship and scooped the ‘European Golf Resort of the Year 2014' award, bestowed by the International Association of Golf Tour Operators (IAGTO).

Situated on Bulgaria's Black Sea coast, the resort is also a haven for non-golfers, offering a choice of two high-spec residential villages - many with panoramic sea views - gourmet restaurants, a bijou spa and its own beach club, all within the unique environment of the Cape Kaliakra coast, which, lying, as it does, further south than Florence, Monaco or Marseille, benefits from a desirable climate.

Indeed, Player himself said of Thracian Cliffs: "You will not find a golf course like this anywhere else on the planet. Pebble Beach is renowned as the best site and I would say Thracian Cliffs is twice as good as Pebble Beach."

The beautiful cliff-top course offers stunning sea views from every hole with the signature par-three sixth providing particularly incredible vistas as you look down to the green which is found surrounded by the lapping waves of the Black Sea. From the tips it measures almost 231 yards - a real test of golf and concentration.

The temperate autumn climate is ideal for the regular special events which take place on the unspoiled Bendida Beach, located directly on the seafront of the resort. And, with a bottle of beer in Bulgaria costing around 68p* - the lowest of all holiday hot-spots in Europe - and a three-course evening meal for two, with wine, available for under £28*, the country is clearly one of the best-value destinations around in 2014, and is likely to remain so next year.
