NEW! TaylorMade RSi irons

TAYLORMADE has today revealed its striking new range of RSi irons, which for the first time ever in an iron, feature slots in the face.

The brand makes no qualms about it. Nobody's perfect and mis-shits happen, even for the Tour pro. With that in mind, the new TaylorMade RSi irons have been designed to help manage your misses. In essence, the golfer who misses less frequent will score better.

Coupled with an improved Speed Pocket, the new TaylorMade RSi 1, RSi 2 and RSi TP irons now provide forgiveness across the whole head as opposed to just the bottom when you catch the ball thin.

TaylorMade RSi 1

RSi 1 features new Face Slot Technlogy in the 3- to 8-iron. As you can see from the images, two slots are located near the heel and toe of the clubface that provide uniform flexion across the face. Face Slot Technology also protects ball speed and generates more consistent distance on off-centre hits.

An improved Speed Pocket with ThruSlot Technology features in the 3- to 7-iron, providing ball speed protection on shots below the centre of the face, as well as increasing launch angle and ball speed on all shots.

RSi 1 also comprises an Advanced Face Design - TaylorMade's thinnest face, deep undercut and Inverted Cone Technology combined - to promote maximum face speed, while improved sound and feel is achieved through advanced construction and multiple dampening systems.

A new Reax 90 steel shaft from True Temper will also help to optimise ball flight for ultimate distance and performance.

The brand makes no qualms about it. Nobody's perfect and mis-shits happen, even for the TaylorMade Tour pro like Justin Rose and Sergio Garcia.

Results gathered by TaylorMade from thousands of club fittings revealed 76% of all iron shots are mis-hits struck outside the centre of the face (where the fastest ball speeds are produced). This discovery led the company to the development of a revolutionary new technology designed to improve consistency and distance on off-centre strikes.
