Mizuno has signed four major championship winners - Paul Azinger, Bob Tway, Jeff Sluman and Larry Mize - to play its clubs on the PGA Tour.

The first three were former winners of the US PGA Championship in 1986, ’87 and ’93 respectively, while Mize, who joins the seniors tour in five years time, won an epic US Masters in 1987 at his home town Augusta National course.

Mizuno had eight first time winners in 2002 and have also signed Chris Smith, J.P. Hayes, Steve Stricker and Billy Andrade. Phil Tataurangi from New Zealand, who beat World No.2 Ernie Els in the recent world matchplay has re-signed for the club makers, alongside Bob Burns.

In Europe, 2002 winners Malcolm Mackenzie, Miles Tunnicliff and Dane Soren Hansen have signed new contracts with Greg Owen, Gordon Brand Jnr, Roger Chapman, Ignacio Garrido, Santiago Luna, Mark Mouland, Sven Struver and Costantino Rocca also re-committing to Mizuno.
