Tiger Woods is back where he belongs wearing a green jacket again, and it's led a number of golf fans and gamers to urge EA Sports to get the popular Tiger Woods PGA Tour video game back on the shelves.
Six years removed from axing the legendary golf game from EA Sports' roster, fans have been tweeting EA Sports in their numbers to release a Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2020 video game following a comeback of all comebacks at The Masters two weeks ago.
The Tiger Woods PGA Tour video game - which was incredibly released 14 different times - dropped Tiger's name in 2013 under "mutual agreement" during a time when the American was going through a number of difficulties off the course.
"EA Sports and Tiger Woods have made a mutual decision to end our partnership, which includes Tiger's named PGA Tour golf game," wrote an EA Sports statement back in 2013.
"We've always been big fans of Tiger and we wish him continued success in all his future endeavors.
"EA Sports golf fans have always loved authentic courses and players, but they've also asked for more choice and customization in how and where they play."
Woods, however, is now back inside the world's top 10 following victories at the season-ending Tour Championship in September and a fifth Masters title earlier this month to move him just one PGA Tour win away from matching Sam Snead's all-time record of 82 wins.
With Woods back in full flow again, golf fans and avid gamers have been tweeting EA Sports in their hundreds to get the 15-time major champion back on our video consoles as early as next year.
Will it happen? There's certainly demand for it - check out some of the best tweets...
