PGA Tour star Akshay Bhatia engaged to girlfriend Presleigh Schultz
PGA Tour pro Akshay Bhatia and his girlfriend Presleigh Schultz have confirmed their engagement.
PGA Tour star Akshay Bhatia and his girlfriend Presleigh Schutlz took to Instagram on Saturday to confirm their engagement.
The news comes on the same day that 2022 US Open champion Matt Fitzpatrick confirmed his engagement with long-time girlfriend Katherine Gaal.
Bhatia, 21, has been in a relationship with his girlfriend Presleigh since he slid into her Instagram DMs two years ago.
The couple immediately hit it off, and Schultz ended up caddying for Bhatia when he won his first Korn Ferry Tour event at The Bahamas Great Exuma Classic in 2022.
But 18 months later, Bhatia became a PGA Tour champion.
Bhatia was visibly choked up when asked about Presleigh's role when he won his maiden PGA Tour title at the Barracuda Championship earlier this season.

Bhatia captured his first PGA Tour title in July 2023 thanks to defeating Patrick Rodgers in a playoff.
Despite earning that win though, Bhatia failed to progress to the FedEx Cup Playoffs.
He is currently ranked 104th in the Official World Golf Rankings.
