Phoenix Open STREAKER does flag pole dance, runs from cops then jumps into water

A streaker caused complete chaos on day two of the Waste Management Phoenix Open before he was eventually caught by police on site at TPC Scottsdale.

The first bit of action came at the iconic Stadium Par-3 16th when the man, wearing underwear, ran onto the green.

He then proceeded to do a pole dance with the flagstick, before jogging around the green to cheers and jeers from the gallery.

The streaker then sprinted down the par-4 17th while being chased by the cops.

He then belly-flopped into the water beside the 17th green, before he was eventually nabbed by the police.

It has since come to light the man is known as MacSavage on Instagram.

WATCH WHAT HAPPENED HERE:

There was plenty more drama on day two of the Phoenix Open with Justin Thomas firing an F-bomb in front of the microphone on the 12th hole.

On the same hole, Maverick McNealy putted his ball from 60 feet into the water, only to chip-in for bogey. But he would be forced out of the event two holes later.

Billy Horschel was also overheard replying with a bizarre comment to a golf fan in the gallery.

News also emerged during the second round broadcast that Tiger Woods will be competing in his Genesis Invitational at Riviera next week.

It will mark Woods' first regular PGA Tour appearance since the ZOZO Championship at the end of 2020, and his first competitive tournament since the 150th Open Championship at St Andrews last July.
