Follow live text commentary from the fourth and final round of the DP World Tour's flagship event at Wentworth.

European Ryder Cup vice-captain Alex Noren and Frenchman Adrien Saddier began the final round two shots clear at the top of the leaderboard.

England's Tyrrell Hatton is also in the hunt alongside his Ryder Cup teammates Viktor Hovland, Jon Rahm and Matthew Fitzpatrick.

Masters champion Rory McIlroy was among the early starters this morning and made a stunning charge up the leaderboard, playing his first 12 holes in 5-under par.

McIlroy finished with a flourish, making eagle at the 72nd hole post a 65 and finish on 12-under.

Lee chips in

M. Woo Lee -14 (15)

Min Woo Lee dropped a shot at the 14th and it looked as though he was going to drop another one over at the par-4 15th as he came up well short of the green with his approach.

No problem though, as he chips in for an unlikely - and timely - birdie three.

13:42
Hatton par

Noren -16, Saddier -15, Hatton -14 (9)

Adrien Saddier makes his ninth par in a row.

In truth, he's done really well to remain at 15-under as he has been forced to scramble for par plenty.

Noren finds the heart of the green and walks off with a four. Hatton also holds his nerve from four feet to save his par.

Nine to go...

13:36
Rahm finishes with a par

Rahm -13 (66)

Jon Rahm posts the clubhouse target of 13-under.

The Spaniard can't convert a birdie putt from nine feet at the last.

We're fairly certain this wasn't the finish Rahm envisioned as he made the turn...

Hovland can't buy a putt

Fichardt -13, Hall -11, Hovland -12 (9)

Another decent birdie chances for Viktor Hovland goes begging at the 9th.

13:33
Lee drops back

M. Woo Lee -13 (14)

Lee can't save his par from 15 feet at the 14th.

13:27
Rahm angry

J. Rahm -13 (18*)

Jon Rahm is playing his final hole.

He finds the fairway at the par-5 18th and flushes his approach, but it's long.

That's not going to be easy.

Patrick Reed strikes at the 8th

Fitzpatrick -12, Ferguson -12, Reed -14 (8)

Super stuff from the American, who drains a 20-footer from the edge of the green at the 8th to move within two shots of the lead.

Fitzpatrick also comes up short with his approach and chips to about six feet. He misses, and drops back to 12-under.

Ferguson misses from eight feet to save his par.

13:22
Justin Rose signs for a closing 73

Rose -6 (73)

Justin Rose was in contention after 36 holes but faded away over the weekend.

This was his 20th appearance in the BMW PGA Championship.

How he would love to win this tournament before he retires.

Don't know about you, but I wouldn't bet against that.

13:20
Missed opportunity for Hatton

Noren -16, Saddier -15, Hatton -14 (8)

Three pars at the 8th for the final group.

Saddier goes first from 20 feet, but he's far too tentative again.

Noren is marginally closer but comes up short.

Hatton doesn't learn anything from his playing partners' efforts and also trudges off the green with a four.

Reaction from Rory McIlroy
Rory McIlroy
Rory McIlroy

Rory McIlroy has just been speaking to reporters about his week at Wentworth.

McIlroy says it was nice to sign off on a positive note with the Ryder Cup on the horizon.

"There's been a lot of talk and a lot of chat and a lot of thinking about the Ryder Cup," McIlroy says.

"But you still want to play well this week. I saw glimpse of that.

"There was a lot of birdies and eagles and just a few too many bogeys and double-bogeys to have a chance to win but overall, happy with the week and obviously very excited for what's to come in a couple weeks' time."

13:13
Rahm birdie

Rahm -13 (17)

Jon Rahm was going really well until his momentum was halted with a bogey at the 14th.

The Spaniard gets that shot back at the 17th.

Can he find an eagle up the last?

13:10
Couvra two back

M. Couvra -14 (14)

There are so many players in the mix it is genuinely quite difficult to keep up.

Martin Couvra is one of those, and the Frenchman has just made his third birdie in a row over at the par-3 14th.

There are now four players two behind leader Alex Noren.

Hatton fuming

Noren -16, Saddier -15, Hatton -14 (7)

Tyrrell Hatton misses the 7th green and his golf ball catches the rough with his third.

Hatton tells himself, and the crowd, that had it flown one yard further it would have been perfect.

He chips on, but misses his par putt on the high side.

The inevitable expletives follow.

Noren two-putts for his par, whilst Saddier drains his five-footer for a four.

Min Woo Lee joins the party

M. Woo Lee -14 (13*)

Australia's Min Woo Lee has played magnificently today.

The 26-year-old made birdies at 4, 8, 9 and 11 to reach 12-under.

An eagle at the 12th, though, has lifted him to with two shots of the lead.

12:56
Hovland remains at 12-under

Fichardt -13, Hall -10, Hovland -12 (7)

Viktor Hovland plays a fine approach into the 7th green, but misses a glorious chance from 11 feet.

Hall and Fichardt also make fours.

"It's going fine"
Marco Penge

Tyrrell Hatton has a quick chat with Sky Sports as he walks down the 7th fairway.

"I'm just trying to get myself opportunities on every hole," he says. "I've basically had a birdie putt for the first six holes but unfortunately only two have gone in so far.

"It's going fine. I have a moan and then by the next shot I'm getting really focused and know what I'm trying to do.

"I feel fairly good, somewhat comfortable with my swing. I'm just trying to keep hitting good golf shots. Hopefully some putts will drop."

12:48
Hatton settles for another par

T. Hatton -15, A. Noren -16, A. Saddier -15 (6)

Tyrrell Hatton has to settle for a par over at the par-4 6th.

A 16-foot birdie putt dips left at the last moment.

Noren and Saddier also make pars.

12:45
Fitzpatrick chips in

Fitzpatrick -13, Ferguson -13, Reed -13 (7)

Matthew Fitzpatrick has reason to smile at the 7th.

The 2022 US Open champion chips in for birdie to move within three of the lead.

Patrick Reed misses a great chance to grab another birdie.

Reitan can't stop, won't stop making birdies

Reitan -14 (8)

There's absolutely no doubt Kristoffer Reitan is the hottest player on the West Course right now.

The 27-year-old Norwegian finds his fifth birdie of the day at the 8th.

12:40
Big par save from Viktor Hovland

Fichardt -13, Hall -10, Hovland -12 (6)

Viktor Hovland's tee shot at the 6th was so far right he was yelling at the gallery to duck for cover.

Still, he does well to save par and remain within four strokes of Alex Noren, holing out for par from 14 feet.

Fichardt makes his first second birdie of the day.

12:37
Rahm par

J. Rahm -12 (15)

Rahm finds fairway and green in regulation at the 15th.

The only problem is Rahm is 40 feet away from the cup.

He two-putts for par.

Three left for Rahm...

Marco Penge going nicely

Penge -13 (11)

Back-to-back birdies at 10 and 11 for Marco Penge lift the youngster into a tie for sixth.

12:30
The lead is one

Noren -16, Saddier -15, Hatton -15 (5)

Alex Noren gets his lob wedge out and makes clean contact. But his golf ball rolls out to about 25 feet.

The Swede quickly walks after his par attempt. That was never in. He slips back to 16-under.

Tyrrell Hatton makes no mistake and moves to within one.

Saddier scrambles well for his three.

12:27
Noren in trouble

Noren -17, Saddier -15, Hatton -14 (5*)

Alex Noren's lead could be in danger here. His tee shot at the par-3 5th takes a huge bounce off a footpath.

He'll do well to make a bogey.

Hatton responds, as he so often does, with an absolute laser.

Great chance for Hatton...

Rahm's race run?

Rahm -12 (14)

Jon Rahm is in the bunker over at the par-3 14th.

He splashes out nicely, but can't save his three from 11 feet.

That'll take the wind out of his sails...
