The DP World Tour's 'Back 9' is gathering momentum, with another strong field descending on Le Golf National for this week's FedEx Open de France.
The iconic Paris venue, which famously hosted the 2018 Ryder Cup, will once again provide the backdrop for one of golf’s oldest national opens.
First played in 1906, the tournament has a rich history stretching back more than a century.
The financial rewards have changed considerably since those early days, with this year’s event boasting a $3.75m prize fund.
That means the eventual champion will take home a substantial $637,500.
Michael Kim returns to defend his title after his narrow one-shot victory last year made him just the fourth American to win the prestigious event.
The reigning champion is joined by several big names in the field, including European Ryder Cup stars Tommy Fleetwood (pictured), Matthew Fitzpatrick and Viktor Hovland.
LIV Golf star Cameron Smith is playing this week after accepting an invitation from the tournament sponsor.
