The race for 2027 PGA Tour membership via the DP World Tour is entering its decisive phase.

Under the current pathway, the 10 highest-ranked DP World Tour players in the season-ending Race to Dubai who are not already exempt for PGA Tour membership will receive cards for the following season.

The controversial system has produced several recent success stories, including the likes of Matthieu Pavon, Ryan Fox, Sami Valimaki and Kristoffer Reitan.

With the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship now complete and the DP World Tour heading into its final run of events.

As things stand, Patrick Reed, Eugenio Chacarra, Casey Jarvis, Jayden Schaper, Andy Sullivan, Jacob Skov Olesen, Bernd Wiesberger, Oliver Lindell, Daniel Hillier and Joe Dean are currently in the 10 qualifying positions on the PGA Tour eligibility list.

Patrick Reed leads the way

Reed is in the strongest position of the group.

The former Masters champion sits atop the overall Race to Dubai standings with 3,423.62 points, having won the Hero Dubai Desert Classic and Qatar Masters.

He also finished runner-up at the Irish Open.

Reed briefly left the PGA Tour for LIV Golf but returned to the DP World Tour in 2026.

Reed withdrew from the BMW PGA Championship with a wrist injury but will return to competition at the Spanish Open.

Behind him, Eugenio Chacarra is also in commanding position.

The Spaniard is third overall with 2,824.39 points and has won twice this season, at the KLM Open and Italian Open.

His KLM Open victory alone was worth 585 Race to Dubai points.

Chacarra, like Reed, is a former LIV player and has made the PGA Tour pathway a major part of his 2026 comeback.

South African Casey Jarvis is fourth overall with 2,654.01 points, while compatriot Jayden Schaper is seventh with 2,153.29.

Both have been among the most consistent performers on the DP World Tour this season, with Jarvis collecting victories at the Magical Kenya Open and South African Open and Schaper winning twice early in the campaign.

Jarvis strengthened his position again at the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship, finishing tied for second behind Adrian Meronk.

That result moved him to fourth in the Race to Dubai standings.

England's Andy Sullivan is ninth overall with 1,848.27 points and remains inside the qualifying group.

He is followed on the eligibility list by Jacob Skov Olesen, Bernd Wiesberger, Oliver Lindell and Daniel Hillier.

Olesen has been one of the notable breakthrough performers of the season, while Wiesberger brings considerably more PGA Tour experience.

The Austrian previously held a PGA Tour card before joining LIV Golf, returning to the DP World Tour after two seasons in the United States.

Lindell has also enjoyed a strong campaign.

The Finn was runner-up to Chacarra at the KLM Open, earning 389 Race to Dubai points from that result.

Hillier, meanwhile, is seeking a return to the PGA Tour after establishing himself as one of the DP World Tour's more consistent performers.

Perhaps the most surprising name in the current top 10 is Joe Dean.

The Englishman dramatically improved his prospects by winning the Husqvarna British Masters at The Belfry in August.

Dean closed with a 63 to win by three shots and collected 835 Race to Dubai points, which propelled him up the standings.

He has since moved into the 10th eligible position, ahead of Nacho Elvira, who is now the first player outside the qualifying group.

Shaun Norris, Hennie du Plessis, Angel Ayora and Dan Bradbury are also among those within striking distance, although they will need strong finishes - and some help from players currently above them - to break into the top 10.
