LIV Golf Mexico City prize money 2026: How much Jon Rahm, others won
LIV Golf Mexico City prize money 2026: Check out the payout information as Jon Rahm claimed his second win of the season on the PIF-backed breakaway.
Spain's Jon Rahm capped off a turbulent week for LIV Golf with his second win of the season in Mexico City.
Last week, reports suggested LIV's financiers, Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund, are set to pull its financial support at the end of the season.
LIV Golf boss, Scott O'Neil, dismissed the concerns and insisted it was business as usual.
Rahm, too, said he was paying little attention to the noise.
And he romped to a six-stroke victory at Mexico's Chapultepec Golf Club.
Rahm's nearest challenger was his compatriot, David Puig, whilst his Legion XIII teammate Tyrrell Hatton finished inside the top 10.
Rahm said he turned a corner with his game after his disastrous start at the 2026 Masters.
A conversation with his caddie Adam Hayes almost got heated on the putting green at Augusta, Rahm said, but he believes something has finally clicked.
His win in Mexico was his second of the season and fourth overall since joining the breakaway in December 2023.
Rahm has now strengthened his lead over Bryson DeChambeau at the top of LIV's individual standings.
And his bank balance is healthier after taking home the lion's share of prize money in Mexico.
As is standard at LIV Golf events, Rahm earned an eye-watering $4m from the $30m purse.
It means he has now surpassed $90m in on-course earnings since making the switch to LIV Golf.
His LegionXIII side also split $3m for winning the team element.
