The Open final round tee times: What time are the leaders out?

The 2026 Open Championship will conclude on Sunday at Royal Birkdale. 

With 18 holes remaining at the final men's major of the year, there are several players in with a credible chance of being the champion golfer of the year. 

But America's Sam Burns is the hot favourite walk away with the Claret Jug and claim his first major championship victory. 

The 29-year-old carded a 5-under 65 on Saturday playing alongside Bryson DeChambeau to reach a 54-hole total of 10-under.

Burns leads New Zealand's Ryan Fox and South Korea's Si Woo Kim by two strokes, with a chasing pack that includes 36-hole leader Lucas Herbert, Jackson Suber, Ludvig Aberg and home favourite Tommy Fleetwood. 

World number one Scottie Scheffler looks as though he will need something incredibly special if he is to have any hope of defending his title. 

Scheffler, 30, sits on 4-under alongside major champions Shane Lowry, Xander Schauffele and Jon Rahm.

The final round of the 2026 Open will begin at 07:40am BST. 

Burns and Fox will tee off at 14:20. 

Fleetwood is playing with Denmark's Rasmus Neergaard-Petersen and will hit his opening tee shot at 13:40 BST.
