Luke Donald appeared to be one of many who enjoyed watching the mind-boggling Premier League match between Tottenham and Chelsea.

Chelsea ran out 4-1 winners on a night of chaos and controversy on 6 November.

Before the game all the hype was about the return of former Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino.

But that turned out to be a minor sub-plot in a game that saw five goals, five disallowed goals, two red cards, endless VAR decisions and Spurs' utterly hilarious decision to keep playing the high line.

"It's just who we are mate," Spurs manager Ange Postecoglou later said. "Even if we have five players we'll always have a go."

Europe's Ryder Cup winning captain Donald is a lifelong Spurs fan and engaged Chelsea legend and fellow golf nut John Terry on X after the defender revealed he was out enjoying the booze despite it being a 'school night'.

Terry, now 42, reportedly ended up singing and dancing on a table in a bar.

"Big move up to 10th," Donald wrote on X, alongside what we can only presume was a sarcastic clapping emoji.

Retorted Terry: "As you boys would know, sorry for the late reply been cleaning my [Premier League trophies].
