Under Armour claims there's never been a golf jacket like its ArmourStorm waterproof before. And I'd have to say I agree.

ArmourStorm features a fast-drying Cocona fabric that is 100% waterproof and breathable. This fabric also disperses moisture to dry incredibly fast while remaining ultra-soft.

When you first slip on this garment, you think to yourself there's simply no way it will keep you dry - well, I know I did anyway. It has the look of a windproof top, rather than a rain jacket.

As the heavens opened for a good 12 holes coming home at Hersham Golf Club last week, I couldn't quite believe what had happened when I plucked my ball out of the 18th cup. My body was completely dry, even if my hair gel was starting to seep down the side of my face.

ArmourStorm sits close to the skin for a streamlined fit without the squeeze of compression and combines fully taped seams, a bungee cord hem and adjustable cuffs to ensure there's no rustling or interference with the golf swing.

There's also a zip chest pocket as well as secure side pockets for those tees, gloves, ball markers and pencils, and UA logo to the left chest.

Very neat, smart garment that I am extremely happy to be sporting ahead of the winter season. I love the colour combination of lime and black and it's got an incredibly sleek, snug feel about it. It's whisper quiet through the golf swing, too, which I love.

For half the price of many of the rain jackets in this feature, I'd have to say this one offers unbelievable value for money at less than a ton.
