Initial thoughts

What do you look for when purchasing a golf bag?

I have to admit, in years past, I have been far too guilty of picking style over practicality.

I'm happy to fork out a bunch of money and then I'm enraged when certain problems arise.

I'm talking about lack of storage to fit my essentials, annoying and uncomfortable straps or perhaps not being fully waterproof contrast to advertising.

When it comes to the Vice Force Agua, I genuinely believe the brand have delivered a stylish bag that is also comfortable to carry, provides loads of storage and is fully waterproof.

Some people might be put off by the £143.99 price tag, but in truth you'll get be getting a durable bag that lasts for a long time.

Let's get into it...

The Vice Force Agua is most definitely one of the best golf bags that money can buy.

Coming in at 5.7lbs - less than 2.5kg - the bag provided an excellent walk in testing.

I used 14 clubs during a practice round at my club and also filled the pockets with some waterproofs, a water bottle, a few snacks and 12 golf balls and not once did I feel as though the bag was too heavy.

Vice have also introduced features called an 'adjustable carrying system' and an 'anti-slip hip pad'.

That PR spiel is nonsense to me but it's true the straps were easy to adjust and at no point did I feel as though the bag was rubbing annoyingly against my lower back.

There are five pockets, too, which is extremely handy.

What I really liked was the Vice branding on each of the zips.

Of course, it's important if the bag is fully waterproof as claimed.

I can say with certainty the bag survived the oldest test in the book: a few minutes being sprayed with a hose.

I even made sure to soak the 'insulated water bottle pocket' that had my phone inside and I'm happy to report that it emerged unscathed.

The bag was also big enough to fit comfortably onto a standard golf trolley.

Elsewhere, the legs are sturdy and flip out and retract as designed with no issues.

Overall, this is a great bag and one that could make our best golf stand bags list

Should you buy the Vice Force Agua bag?

The short answer to this question is a resounding yes.

It has everything you could ever want from a golf bag and should definitely be high up the list when you are considering your next purchase.

The looks, functionality and purpose are all great.

When it comes to price, it might be a tad more than you would like to spend but I do believe it represents value for money.
