Pros
- The PING i525 irons deliver fantastic forgiveness and distance.
Cons
- At £1,260.00, they are very expensive.

The PING i525 irons are a compact and distance-delivering set that caters for all handicappers, whether you play off single figures or you play to 20.

Despite having compact heads, the i525 irons deliver a lot of forgiveness which is why they are suited to such a wide range of golfers.

Alex was pleasantly surprised with the new irons because PING have not been ones to prioritise distance with irons when compared to brands such as TaylorMade.

There is a Polymer insert behind each clubface which increases the feel and connection. The lofts are particularly strong too. The 7-iron is 30.5 degrees and the pitching wedge is 45 degrees.

When you look down at address, the i525 head is compact but it is nothing like a blade. Once you connect, you will feel the forgiveness.

Alex tested them out on the golf course and recommended that any golfer should consider buying them. The clubface gives good feedback and the i525's forgive off-centre hits.

Alex was extremely encouraged by the dispersion and consistency of his shots and this also rang true when he tested them in an indoor golf simulator.

The distances and ball speeds were satisfying and the launch of each iron is progressive through the set. The lofted irons delivered a high launch and the lower irons delivered a low, piercing flight out on the golf course.

The i525 irons are an all-rounder set. They give you forgiveness and distance with their strong lofts. Also, PING are known for creating durable iron sets which can last up to 10 years in your bag.

They are £1,260.00 for a seven-club set which appears expensive, but the i525's could easily provide you with a decade of forgiveness and distance.
