Sun Day Red gears up for The Open with the new Royal Collection
The latest drop from Tiger Woods' brand honours the unrivalled heritage of true links golf.

A new Sun Day Red drop has now become a fundamental part of major season, and the Tiger Woods-founded brand is ringing in The Open with the release of its most regal collection yet.
Inspired by the heritage of the game's oldest major and the distinctive sights and sounds that accompany British links golf, The Royal Collection is a tribute to the game's most storied tournament rendered across apparel, bags and accessories.

"Links golf demands something different," said Caje Moye, Senior Director, Product Design. "It's where tradition and performance have always existed together.
The collection predominantly plays in muted tones of blue, tan and red, centred around a dark claret reminiscent of The Open's iconic trophy. Tartan also features heavily throughout, as seen in a collection of head covers and a special rendition of the Molinos Seersucker Wind Crew.

Every piece in the collection has been specially chosen for its unique ability to stand up to the unique conditions posed by Britain's most exposed links courses, with wind, water resistance, breathability and flexibility all prioritised.
"Every piece in this collection is engineered to hold up under whatever the week brings," continues Moye. "The construction, the fit, the finish. That's the throughline. A respect for the history, and a commitment to everything the game asks of you."

The collection also features a luxurious special-edition stand bag manufactured by Vessel, a white and burgundy spin on the Osprey golf sneaker, and a selection of hoodies, polo shirts and t-shirts.
