Tom Kim seals third PGA Tour title with Titleist

Tom Kim held off Adam Hadwin in the final round of the Shriners Children's Open to seal his third PGA Tour title.

Tom Kim shot a final round 5-under 66 to secure his third PGA Tour title at the Shriners Children's Open in Las Vegas at TPC Summerlin.

Kim, 21, finished the week 20-under, one shot clear of Canada's Adam Hadwin, and in doing so, defended his title, having also won the tournament in 2022.

The historic win also made Kim the youngest player since Tiger Woods to win three times on the PGA Tour, and the victory has also seen him rise to 11th in the Official World Golf Ranking.

In retaining the title, Kim has also become the first person since Jim Furyk in 1998 and 1999 to win back-to-back times at the Shriners Children's Open.

Kim got off to a quick start in his final round, opening up with three birdies in the first four holes. Two bogeys quickly followed on the fourth and fifth holes before he steadied the ship with a 3-under back nine to remain one shot clear of Hadwin.

Discussing the win in a post-round interview, Kim said:

"I think because it's sponsored by Shriners Children's that it's even more special. I'm 21, I'm not the oldest guy out here, and the kids here are even younger than me.

"I feel like I'm kind of close in age with them, and if there's anything I can do just to inspire one kid out there, it would mean the world."

Having set himself up well for the weekend with two consecutive 3-under rounds on Thursday and Friday, Kim put himself in a fantastic position to win with a scintillating 9-under 62 on Saturday.

Using a full bag of Titleist clubs, Kim's game was almost flawless during the third round, and he gained a staggering +6.74 strokes on the field, with 4.54 of those coming tee-to-green.
