How much is the Internet Invitational 2026 prize money?

The stakes have been raised considerably for Season 2, with a total prize purse of $4 million.

That's a substantial increase on the $1 million available during the inaugural 2025 competition. Brad Dalke, Francis Ellis and Cody 'Beef' Franke shared that first-season prize after emerging as champions.

This year's tournament also carries an emotional significance. The trophy has been renamed the Cody 'Beef' Franke Trophy in memory of Franke, who died suddenly on October 25, 2025, aged just 31. His family was invited to Big Cedar Lodge to be part of the opening of the 2026 event.

Internet Invitational 2026: Teams and Format

A total of 64 competitors have been selected for this year's tournament, with the field divided into four teams of 16.

The teams are led by four captains: Brad Dalke, Wesley Bryan, Peter Finch and Ryan Ruffels.

Unlike traditional handicap competitions, players won't receive any handicap strokes during matches. This has already generated discussion, particularly around the decision not to offer women the opportunity to play from a forward tee box.

The second episode brings the opening day's action to a close with an alternate-shot contest. The format has an immediate impact on the competition, with two complete teams eliminated and the remaining field cut from 64 players to 32.

Who is playing in the Internet Invitational 2026?

The field brings together an eclectic mix of golf talent, content creators, professional athletes and entertainment personalities.

Among the headline names are Brad Dalke, Paige Spiranac, Grant Horvat, Rick Shiels, Fat Perez, Robby Berger, Wesley Bryan and Peter Finch.

They are joined by familiar faces including Luke Kwon, Garrett Clark, Johnny Manziel, Justin Gaethje, Jon Gruden, Ryan Whitney, Andrew Santino and Josh Richards.

There is also plenty of representation from the wider golf content community, with players such as Hailey Rae Ostrom, Tisha Alyn, Claire Hogle and Roger Steele involved.

Handicaps have provided another talking point ahead of the competition. Dalke leads the published list at +7.2, while Horvat (+1.9) and Spiranac (+2.4) are among the other notable players with plus handicaps.

At the other end of the scale, Bob Does Sports personality Berger has a 12.9 index.

Where was the Internet Invitational filmed?

The 2026 series returns to familiar surroundings, with all six episodes filmed at Big Cedar Lodge in Ridgedale, Missouri.

The same venue hosted the first edition, with filming for the second season taking place between August 10 and 17, 2026.

With $4 million on the line, a diverse 64-player field and a trophy that honours one of the competition's original champions, the Internet Invitational has plenty of storylines to follow.

The series concludes with its finale on Thursday, November 12, when viewers will discover who claims the Cody 'Beef' Franke Trophy.
