Can golf shafts be a fashion statement? This collab says yes
A new collaboration from KBS and Aussie apparel brand Walker Golf is full of high-octane merch.

For all the money that goes into their development, driver shafts typically aren't super glamorous bits of kit. Gear nerds will preach to them being perhaps the most important investment for any budding golfer, but for obvious reasons more often than not the headlines go to clothes, shoes and club heads.
A new collaboration from Australian apparel brand Walker Golf Things and American shaft giant KBS, however, looks to shine a new light on this often under appreciated segment.
Founded by former pro skater Jack Fardell on the Gold Coast, Walker has made a big splash in the apparel game in recent years, having already chalked up big-time collabs with the likes of Adidas and model-turned-actor Evan Mock. The brand channels the aesthetics of surf and skate culture of the '80s and '90s while maintaining a technical edge that ensures their products are fit to meet the needs of the modern golfer.
For their latest campaign, the brand has turned to American shaft giant KBS as a source of inspiration, paying homage to the humble driver shaft as the key source of speed and power in the golf swing. To do so, the two have come up with a smart capsule collection of golf apparel, accessories and, of course, a driver shaft, inspired by motorsports apparel from the '80s and '90s.
The collection spans t-shirts, team jackets, a pair of smart polos and and a breathable golf cap, dressed in bright hues of teal, gold and red, as well as an eye-catching spin on the Players Graphite Wood ( PGW ) shaft—an all-rounder designed to fit a wide variety of swing speeds and styles.
Crowning the collection is a special limited-edition build of the TaylorMade Qi35 Max driver, fitted with the KBS shaft and a green Lamkin UTX Cord grip
Walker's signature Kookaburra insignia features throughout.

The collection is available to shop now at Walker Golf Things and GolfBox.
