Jimenez after 63: 'I'm still kicking young asses'
Spaniard in triumphant mod after impressive display in final round of Hong Kong Open.
Miguel Angel Jimenez said he is “still kicking young ases (sic)” in a comical exchange on Twitter with Colin Montgomerie.
The 53-year-old Spaniard fired a closing 63 at the European Tour’s Hong Kong open to finish in tied-seventh.
Montgomerie, who competes against Jimenez on the over-50s Champions Tour, prompted the conversation.
Jimenez won the event in 2014, making him the oldest winner on Tour at 49, before winning again and breaking his own record by capturing the Spanish Open aged 50.
