Matt Wallace takes on Guido Migliozzi in 14 club challenge

Matt Wallace has climbed the world rankings over the last few years and looks set to be one of Padraig Harrington's players for the 2020 Ryder Cup at Whistling Straits, while Guido Migliozzi has had a fantastic rookie year, winning both the Kenya Open and the Belgian Knockout.

The 14 club challenge has seen some fantastic matches so far, but this one is up there with one of the best, as both players were on target at Jumeirah Golf Estates in Dubai.

The challenge was the 152-yard par 3, where the players took turns trying to hit the green to score a point, but as usual, when one player uses a club, both players lose it.

Strangely, Wallace opted for his putter as his first club of choice, while Migliozzi went with a 5 iron. Check out how both players got on in the video below.

"152 yards mate," said Wallace, as the two started the challenge. "And I'm pulling out the putter straight away. Different strategy, probably won't pay off."

"How do you play it?" asked Migliozzi.

"I don't know," joked Wallace as the two laughed at the Englishman's questionable choice of first club.

Wallace, who has slipped to 44th in the world rankings, will want to start the new season well after a disappointing end to his season. Wallace won three times on the European Tour in 2018, but failed to find a victory in 2019.
