One thing you definitely do as a golf journalist is double check your facts and statistics - when it comes to golf. Sadly for one lady journalist, that was NOT the case at this week's CJ Cup in South Korea.

The journalist in question made the error of making a false comment when questioning defending champion Justin Thomas, when she said: "Last year, you struggled in the first round, and you, at the time said, it was because of the wind..."
JT - who actually shot a blistering 63 in the first round last year - quickly shut her down before she had time to finish her question. Watch his response here...
Maybe it was the same journalist who asked Marc Leishman THIS CLASSIC QUESTION at the BMW Championship earlier this year.
Thomas got off to a slow start on day one this time around +1 over 73, and he lies five strokes off the early pace set by compatriot Chez Reavie.
