The Players Championship is one of the most exciting tournaments in golf and the biggest outside of the majors. The famous 17th at TPC Sawgrass is a short par 3 to an island green across water with thousands of spectators watching and we didn't have to wait long to see another hole in one.
There have been plenty of aces on the famous 17th hole over the years, the last being Sergio Garcia's back in 2017, but on the first day of the 2019 Players Championship, Ryan Moore made the fans go wild with a stunning hole in one.
Moore's ace was a special one. We didn't see the usual bounce and roll or a pitch shot past the hole that span back, nope, Ryan Moore slam dunked it straight into the cup!
The American now sits T5 after day one on five under par. Check out Moore's special moment in the clip below, courtesy of GOLF.com.
