John Deere Classic Live: Final Round scores, leaderboard, tee times and highlights

John Deere 2025 Live: Final round leaderboard and updates from the PGA Tour's latest event at TPC Deere Run in Illinois.

Davis Thompson takes a narrow one-stroke lead into the final round of the John Deere Classic.

Thompson is attempting to become the first player since Steve Stricker in 2011 to successfully defend the title at TPC Deere Run.

The American is also looking to become the first player since KH Lee to earn his first two wins on the PGA Tour at the same event.

Lee achieved that feat with victories at the CJ Cup Byron Nelson in 2021 and 2022.

It will be no easy feat for Thompson though given four players are tucked one shot behind him ahead of the final round, including Max Homa, Brian Campbell, Emiliano Grillo and David Lipsky.

Here's a look at how we stand heading into the final round of the John Deere Classic:

He too falls out the lead.

18:43
Hossler bogey

Hossler makes bogey to fall out of a tie for the lead.

He's one back.

18:35

Another birdie for Hossler.

He ties the lead.

18:22
Hossler eagle

Hossler -14 (14)

Hossler rolls in an eagle from long range on the par-4 14th.

He's 7-under for the round and now up into T2.

Likely running out of holes.

18:15
Fowler bogey

Fowler -12 (9)

That's likely Fowler out of it.

He fails to get up and down for par on the 9th and he's back to 12-under.

18:13
Dunlap ties lead

Dunlap -15 (12)

This is some charge from Dunlap, who rolls in another birdie from long range on the 12th.

He's now 7-under for the round and tied for the lead at 15-under.

Possibly has played too many holes but we'll see.

It looks certain Dunlap will be posting a number everyone has to look at today.

18:10
Roy two early birdies

Roy -13 (2)

Two opening birdies for Roy, who moves into contention at 13-under.

Two back.

18:07
Dunlap surging late

Dunlap -14 (11)

Dunlap charging late.

He's dropped in another birdie to move to 6-under for the round thru 11 holes.

Dunlap just one back.

17:59
Young into T2

Young -14 (6)

It's a fifth birdie in six holes for Carson Young, who surges into a tie for second.

One back.

17:57
Birdie finish for Thorbjornsen

Thorbjornsen -13 (F)

Thorbjornsen stiffs his approach to two feet on the tough par-4 18th and it all adds up to a brilliant 63 - with a double on 17 too!

17:47
Fowler birdie, Thorbjornsen double

Fowler -13 (5), Thorbjornsen -12 (17)

It's another birdie for Fowler, who moves to 4-under for the round and to 13-under for the tournament.

That's just two back.

It's bad news for Thorbjornsen up ahead though as he makes a disastrous double on what is one of the easiest holes on the course at the par-5 17th.

Thorbjornsen back to 12-under.

17:28
Carson Young fast start

Young -12 (3)

Three birdies straight out the gate for Young, who moves to 12-under.

Three back.

17:27
Rickie makes his move

Fowler -12 (5)

Fowler sends hom a birdie on the 5th to move to 3-under for the round and to 12-under for the tournament.

By no means out of it.

Three back.

17:18
Another for Thorbjornsen

Thorbjornsen -14 (15)

Thorbjornsen drains another birdie from long range on the par-4 15th.

He's 9-under for the round and up into a tie for second.

Three closing birdies for a 59?

17:03
Thorbjornsen having a stormer

Thorbjornsen -13 (14)

Thorbjornsen isn't going to register his first PGA Tour title but he's surging late.

He's now 8-under for the round thru 14 holes and up to 13-under par.

That's in solo sixth.

Knapp makes early move

Knapp -10 (2)

It's a birdie-eagle start for big-hitting Knapp.

He's up to 10-under par in T15.

Likely too far back to mount a challenge, but another good week in store for the American.

Birdies galore early

Loads of birdies to be had in the final round by the looks of the early wave of groups.

Thorbjornsen is 3-under thru two holes and to 8-under for the tournament.

The American has impressively started birdie-eagle.

Both Hoshino and Kizzire are 4-under thru six holes to move to 6-under.

All too far back to contend for the title but lots of valuable FedEx Cup points up for grabs at least.
