WGC-Mexico Championship: Groups & UK Tee Times

The Tours combine this week for the latest WGC event, the WGC-Mexico Championship at Club de Golf Chapultepec. Dustin Johnson will return to defend his title and having won the event three times in the last five years, the American will be a hot favourite to win once again.

Rory McIlroy finished as last year's runner up and will be looking to complete the 'WGC Slam' this week, which would make him just the second player alongside Dustin Johnson to win all four events in the World Golf Championship.

The Northern Irishman will be a strong contender this week, given that the course seems to favour the more powerful players and McIlroy was hitting bombs during his preperation for the event, including this drive that carried 364 yards.

Another strong field will be on show in Mexico, with the likes of Jon Rahm, Justin Thomas and Tommy Fleetwood all teeing it up try and take home the winner's share of $1.745m, with the total prize purse set at $10m.

Last year, DJ produced this phenomenal 369 yard drive at the par-4 second to leave a tap in eagle to extend his lead.
