PGA pro Simon Garner helps us beat the unwanted fade and draw

1. Start closed and finish open for a fade

If you try and stop a draw by opening the clubface all you will do is slice the ball.

Instead, with the intention to fade the ball, Simon closes the clubface at address and during the downswing and at impact he turns his wrists under (clockwise for a right-hander).

The outcome for Simon is a well-struck 5-10 yard fade. Practice this for 10-15 balls and see how it goes.
