TOUR CHAMPIONSHIP R3 TEE TIMES

England's Tommy Fleetwood moved into a share of the lead after firing a stunning 7-under 63 in the second round of the Tour Championship at East Lake.

Fleetwood, 34, made just one bogey in a round of 63 that vaults him into a share of the lead with Russell Henley on 13-under par heading into the weekend.

Henley, who led after 18 holes following an exceptional 61, birdied the final two holes on Friday to card a 66 and join Fleetwood out in front.

In-form American Cameron Young surged through the field into solo third on 11-under par courtesy of a spectacular 62.

Seven-time DP World Tour winner Fleetwood is still going in search of his first PGA Tour title after years of heartache, most recently at the Travelers Championship in June and FedEx St Jude Championship earlier this month where he threw away a two-shot lead down the last three holes.

Henley, 36, is seeking a sixth career PGA Tour title, while Young, 28, is going in search of his second having won his first at the Wyndham Championship earlier this month.

A first PGA Tour victory for Fleetwood this Sunday would come at the perfect possible time since it would also clinch him the season-long FedEx Cup and a first prize of $10m.

Earlier in the week during his press conference, Fleetwood admitted "it would be funny" if his first PGA Tour win was to come this week.

Fleetwood and Henley's now tied second alongside Tiger Woods for the lowest first 36 holes in Tour Championship history.

"I'm just scoring well at the moment," said Fleetwood, ranked 10th in the world.

"I'm just doing it over the course of more rounds at the moment, I would like to think this is what my potential is and I can keep going.

"I drove it well today, gave myself a lot of opportunities, putting well too, just for the time being everything has been pretty good."

Fleetwood has now held the lead or co-lead for the 14th time after a round on the PGA Tour.

Scotland's Robert MacIntyre is also once again in contention for a third PGA Tour title.

MacIntyre threw away last week's BMW Championship to Scottie Scheffler after a disappointing 73 in the final round.

But the left hander is back in the zone thru two rounds in tied fourth on 10-under par alongside Patrick Cantlay, who incredibly finished birdie, birdie, eagle to match MacIntyre's 66.

Elsewhere, World No.1 Scheffler had a rare day to forget with a 69 but he still remains in contention in solo sixth on 8-under par.

Scheffler was regularly seen losing his cool during the second round but he stiffed his approach shot from inside of 100 yards to a foot for a kick-in birdie on the par-5 18th to make dinner taste a bit sweeter.

The birdie also marked Scheffler's 19th straight round in the 60s on the PGA Tour.

Rory McIlroy carded a flawless 67 to move into a logjam tie for seventh on 7-under par.

US Ryder Cup captain Keegan Bradley is a further shot back after a solid 64.

Bradley is currently deliberating whether or not to hand himself one of his six captain's picks on the team.

He will make his decision on Wednesday 27 August.

The 2025 Ryder Cup takes place at Bethpage in New York from 26-28 September.

European Ryder Cup Luke Donald will confirm his six picks on Monday 1 September.
