Brooks Koepka's wife Jena Sims has given birth to a baby boy.

Jena revealed details of the birth on 3 August, confirming Crew Sims Koepka was born on 27 July at 8.31pm.

Model Sims, 34, said Crew came into the world six weeks before his due date.

Her waters broke 'two minutes' after her golf star husband returned home from an early evening gym session at 5.50pm.

"He was still breech so they had to do a C-section," wrote Jena. "Crew was earth-side in three hours and arrived at 8.31pm."

Jena said he 'came out crying and breathing', adding a special note to her husband Brooks:

"I seriously have never seen or felt so much love and felt more like a team than I have with Brooks throughout all of this.
"He is already such an amazing father and partner and I was so thankful he was home for this. Couldn't have done it without him."

Jena added:

"He made me laugh when I needed to, cried with me, held me, did everything possible he could to help my healing in the hospital, and I'm just so grateful."

Little Crew is apparently in the NICU with an undisclosed condition, but Jena wrote that things appear to be heading in the right direction as the little boy is off oxygen, breathing on his own and 'meeting tiny milestones every day'.

Jena wrote leaving the hospital without her son was 'the hardest thing we've ever done'.

"I wish it on no one," she said. "There's so much space in my heart of NICU parents."

Recently Brooks, 33, revealed before the 2023 Open at Royal Liverpool golf wouldn't be a priority after the birth of his son.

"It'll be fun. I'm excited for it," he said, adding:

"It's been an interesting few months just prepping for it all. Golf is probably going to take a backseat. My family will take priority. Yeah, got to manage my time a little differently, which will be interesting. I'm excited for it.
"But, yeah, becoming a new dad, yeah, there's probably bits of me that are really nervous. There's another human being that's going to rely completely on me and Jena. It's exciting, but yeah, a little bit nervous at the same time."

It is unknown if Koepka will still be in the field at LIV Golf's event this week at The Greenbrier
