Dustin Johnson has revealed his menu for the Champion's Dinner at The Masters next week at Augusta National and much to everyone's surprise, it doesn't feature any sandwiches.

It's tradition for the winner of The Masters to select the menu for the Champion's Dinner, where past winners of the iconic tournament get together wearing their green jackets and enjoy a multi-course meal that features favourites of the defending champion.

Prior to last year's Masters, which took place at a later date in November due to the coronavirus pandemic, Johnson had golf fans laughing when he said during a press conference that his favourite Masters tradition was the sandwiches.

After winning the tournament and his second major in dominating fashion, Johnson joked that he may pick sandwiches as a part of his Champion's Dinner menu.

The World No.1 has now revealed his menu as he prepares to defend his Masters title next week.

Johnson was scheduled to play in this week's Valero Texas Open at TPC San Antonio, but he ended up withdrawing from the tournament to spend time at home before the action at Augusta.

"After much careful thought over the weekend, I have decided to withdraw from the Valero Texas Open," Johnson said.

"I now plan to spend the week at home in preparation for next week's Masters. I sincerely apologise to all the sponsors at Valero and all my friends in San Antonio, as I realise this is disappointing news.

"Nonetheless, I have no doubt it will be another great week for the Valero Texas Open."

Johnson is currently the favourite to win the 2021 Masters and it's no surprise given his devastating form over the past year, while big-hitting Bryson DeChambeau sits right behind Johnson with the bookmakers.
