Oh-oh! Just when you thought you’d bought the ultimate driving machine, Cobra introduces another one.

The new King Cobra 454 and 414 Composite Unlimited drivers are claiming ‘to blow the lid off’ driver design - and distance.

Cobra superceded the SS 430 and 370 with a more forgiving SZ 440 and 400 and turned it into the best selling driver on the market earlier this year, according to one leading survey. Now the makers are promising the new Cobra Comp drivers are even more powerful and forgiving.

Main features include a lightweight composite top, shaving grams off the clubhead weight, enabling flexibility to move the centre of gravity lower and further back and a
milled rhombus titanium insert for a hotter, wider sweet zone, for more forgiveness.

A 45g Mitsubishi Rayon SL shaft, says Cobra, also helps to ‘increase swing speed and encourage a higher right to left trajectory.’

Both 454cc and 414cc models are available for right and left handers in 7.5, nine, and 10.5-degree options. Recommended price is £329.
