In line with its signing of Colin Montgomerie – the Ryder Cup hero and seven time winner of the Volvo Order of Merit - the rejuvenated Ben Hogan Golf Division has unveiled the Ben Hogan Apex Edge CFT game-improvement iron.

The company says it complements its popular Apex irons and the Apex Pro irons being used by Monty this week in the Honda event in Florida

"The new clubs target the passionate golfer who wants more forgiveness in an iron," says marketing director David Lowe. "The objective was to combine beauty, quality, and craftsmanship with a technologically superior design that appeals to golfers of all types and ability levels."

The Apex Edge CFT is available with steel shafts (£399 for eight irons) and graphite (£499) and includes ‘extended muscle-back cavity design for maximum forgiveness, three-dimensional weight distribution for higher, longer, and more penetrating ball flight and a larger effective hitting area,’ say the makers.

You can select your eight clubs from 1-iron to lob wedge in men's right hand models and 2-iron to sand wedge for left-handers.

The company is this year celebrating its 50th anniversary since being founded by the legendary Hogan with a range of clubs and balls including the Apex Tour ball. For the nearest stockist call 01954 7686600.
