TaylorMade launches 'Loft Up For More Distance' guarantee

TAYLORMADE has launched its ‘Loft Up For More Distance’ guarantee* today for both new SLDR and JetSpeed Drivers.

The promotion, which is being run together with participating authorised TaylorMade Golf retailers, enables golfers to purchase a new TaylorMade SLDR or JetSpeed Driver, with the reassurance that if the loft is either too high or too low for them or they haven’t gained distance, then they can return the driver for their money back or exchange it for the correct loft.

This started on March 1 and will run until April 30.

Designed to help a player hit longer/straighter drives by promoting a high launch angle, lower spin-rate and faster ball speed, TaylorMade is challenging golfers to ‘Loft Up’ throughout its family of Metalwoods, SLDR and JetSpeed.

TaylorMade Golf’s new centre of gravity (CG) location in the metalwoods is low-and-forward, a monumental shift in metalwood thinking. Moving the CG forward promotes faster ball speed and lower spin, resulting in the need for golfer’s to ‘Loft Up’ to gain distance.

Since its launch in July 2013, the SLDR has quickly emerged as the dominant driver on Tour with many players increasing their loft to achieve greater control, more consistency and significant distance gains.

Jason Howarth, TaylorMade Brand Director, Europe, said: “Going into the new 2014 season we feel that is it incredibly important that golfers fully appreciate the benefits of our low/forward CG designed drivers.

"More and more golfers are achieving more distance by purchasing a new JetSpeed or SLDR Driver with more ‘Loft’ than they have previously played; we are simply guaranteeing this or return the driver to the point of purchase to receive your money back. 2014 is the year of Loft’’

Golfers will have 30 days, from the date of purchase of either their SLDR or JetSpeed Driver to try it out.  Take the 30 Day Money Back Challenge today and ‘Loft Up’.
